Our Breeding Program

We are expecting 7 foals this year out of Masters Craig.

Starlight's Amber

The one that started it all. Our first registered Belgian turned out to be our best foundation mare. Amber  foaled some of our best horses, including 2 daughters and a granddaughter currently in our hitch. We also have a 3 year old daughter, Swihart's Flora Too, who likely be in the hitch next year.

Sadly, we lost Amber at the age of 25 in December 2009.  We do have 3 of her  4 daughters and one granddaughter in foal for this year. Who would of thought this 16hh mare would produce the 18hh offspring that she did.

Swihart's EFB Cora

Sadly, this beautiful mare died in June 2009. Cora, an Amber daughter, had been a staple in our hitch for  8 years. She had the size, presence and motion that is uncommon for a mare. She left us with a foal who we named Roman. On a happier note, Roman was adopted by our mare Gina and has his mother's same presence and style.

Swihart's EFB Lola

Lola is another Amber daughter that we use in the right swing. She is one of those mares that you can drive all day and she just wont quit. She is in foal to Master's Craig for 2010.

Swihart's Maya

Another Amber daughter, but we ran out of spots in the 6 for Maya and we don't have enough harness to hook 8! She'll just have to wait for next year. Maya is in foal to Master's Craig for 2010.

Swihart's EFB Lady Liberty

Libby is a daughter of Swihart's EFB Cora and Chestnut's Sir Max, who we used in the wheel next to her mother. She is an honest 18hh barefoot and is in foal to Master's Craig for 2010!

Double H. Ginny

Gina is our lead mare that we acquired this fall from Joseph Steury and family of Quincy Michigan. She is in foal to Master's Craig.
